1. Visa Exemption through JAVES for Indonesian and Qatari Citizens
In addition to Indonesian citizens, Qatari nationals are also eligible for visa exemption through the JAVES online system. This exemption allows travelers to register their e-passports with a chip for short-term trips to Japan without obtaining a traditional visa.
Key Features of the Visa Exemption System:
- Eligibility: Indonesian and Qatari citizens with e-passports equipped with a chip.
- Purpose of Visit: Tourism, business trips, or visiting family and friends.
- Duration of Visit: Up to 15 days for Indonesian citizens and up to 30 days for Qatari citizens.
- Validity: Three years or until passport expiry.
- Cost and Processing Time: The cost is 500,000 IDR, with an estimated processing time of 2–3 business days.
- Application Assistance with Flado: Flado specialists can help submit applications through the JAVES system, after which travelers can present the Visa Exemption Notice upon entry into Japan.

To apply through JAVES, you will need:
- Passport:
- Main passport page with personal details.
- Passport cover page.

- Planned entry and exit dates for Japan.

2. Visa Application via Japan Visa Application Center (JVAC)
For those not eligible for JAVES, Flado offers support for visa applications through JVAC, making it quick and convenient to apply for and receive your Japanese visa. Located in Kuta, Bali, JVAC serves as a local visa processing hub for Indonesia.

Note: A single-entry visa with a stay of up to 15 days is issued only for group tours organized by local travel agents. A multiple-entry visa allows multiple visits to family and friends, with a stay of up to 30 days for each visit, or for business trips up to 90 days per entry.
