Dependent KITAS is available to spouse, children or parents if a foreigner already has KITAS/KITAP.

Examples:

• Dependent Child Visa E31E: Children of a foreign national can apply for a Dependent Child Visa E31E if one of their parents holds a Working KITAS.
• Spouse KITAS E31B: A spouse is eligible for a Spouse KITAS E31B if their partner holds an Investor KITAS E28A.
• Parent KITAS E31H: Children studying in Indonesia can invite their parents to live with them by applying for a Parent KITAS E31H.
• Dependent KITAS for Direct Relatives: If your primary visa is a Working KITAS, Investor KITAS, Second Home KITAS, Student KITAS, or Ex-WNI KITAS, you can apply for a dependent KITAS for your immediate family members.

These dependent visas will be valid for the same duration as your KITAS or KITAP, as they are tied to the main visa.

How to obtain Dependent Family KITAS: Spouse E31B, Parent E31E, Child E31H?

Required Documents (from Applicant):

• Main page of the passport (valid for at least 6 months);
• Color personal photograph (electronic copy);
• Marriage certificate (sworn translation into English or Indonesian language, or notarized/legalized translation);
• Main KITAS/KITAP.

Additional for Children (Under 18 years old) and Parent:

• Birth certificate of children (sworn translation into English or Indonesian language, or notarized/legalized translation).

Steps to obtain Dependent KITAS for family members (the owner of the main KITAS is a foreigner):

• Send us all the required documents, our visa agency will issue the e-visa for KITAS through the Jakarta General Immigration Office;
• You will get your e-KITAS at the airport immediately upon arrival in the country. Watch the video instruction: follow the ITAS Online sign to the ITAS Online Counter, present your e-Visa and your passport, you are photographed, fingerprinted, an ITAS sticker is pasted into your passport, later KITAS will come to your e-mail.

We will convert your current visa to KITAS if you are already in Indonesia. The exception is Visa on Arrival (VoA), which cannot be converted to KITAS.

• Bank statement from the account of the Applicant or Sponsor (minimum 2000 USD);
• Sponsorship and guarantee letters;
• Your passport (18 months Validity);

• Letter of approval from the holder of the main KITAS/KITAP.

Steps to get Dependent KITAS Onshore:

• Bring the documents to the office of our visa center;
• We need your passport as well as copies of the required documents. Prepare a set of documents with sponsorship letters for the release of KITAS;
• During this process, we will invite you to be photographed and fingerprinted at the immigration office;
• You will later receive your passport back with information about your KITAS.
