On November 22, 2022, the General Directorate of Immigration announced the re-opening of multiple-entry visas (VKBP), which were abolished with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. These visas are intended primarily for the category of foreigners with high mobility, so that they can move freely while carrying out their activities.

Tourists/Businessmen who apply for a multiple entry visa (VKBP) must be sponsored by an agency company in Indonesia. Applications for VKBP multi-visas are submitted by the guarantor-sponsor online through the website visa-online.imigration.go.id. The e-visa will be sent to your mail. It is enough to provide the agency with:

A multi-visit visitor visa is a type of visa that will allow foreigners to enter and exit Indonesian territory within one year, Widodo said. Each time you enter Indonesia, you are granted 60 days to stay.

The D1/D2 (ex D212) Multiple Entry Visa Fee (VKBP) is charged once, no renewal fees.

Widodo emphasized that VKBP cannot be used to work in Indonesia. Foreigners who own VKBP can conduct business negotiations, come for tourism purposes, on government business, conduct purchases of goods, hold meetings, attend for humanitarian purposes and transit through Indonesia.

How much does it cost to issue multiple e-Visa D1/D2 (ex D212) for 1, 2 or 5 years?

The multi-entry D1/D2 visa (formerly D212) allows for stays in Indonesia of 1, 2, or 5 years. Each visit is limited to 60 days, and the visa cannot be extended. However, you can leave and re-enter the country an unlimited number of times, starting a new 60-day period each time. After obtaining the visa, you have 90 days to enter Indonesia for the first time.

If you’re looking for a longer stay per visit, consider the D12 multi-entry visa. This visa is available for adults only and allows for a 180-day stay per entry. It’s possible to extend this stay by another 180 days if needed.
