Starting September 17, 2024, Aeroflot will open a direct flight route from Denpasar, Bali to Moscow, Russia. Please note that direct flights are available from Denpasar every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, and from Moscow every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

How to Get a Russian Visa?

To visit Russia, you need a visa. Indonesian citizens and some other countries can apply for an electronic visa (e-visa) for short visits of 16 days. The process is fast, only takes 4 working days, and costs around 1.400.000 IDR. If you want to stay longer in Russia, you need to apply for a regular visa through the Russian Embassy. The process is a bit longer, around 12-20 working days, and is more expensive, starting from 4.500.000 IDR. It is also possible to obtain an expedited process for obtaining a regular Russian visa within 3-5 working days. Important: If you are a foreigner and reside in Indonesia, then to get a Russian visa you must have a KITAS or KITAP.
