UAE Visa from Indonesia: eVisa, Transit Visa, Visa on Arrival or Visa Exemption

UAE eVisa & Entry Permit from Indonesia

Apply for a UAE entry permit from Indonesia with Flado support. We help Indonesian citizens and foreign residents in Indonesia check whether they need a UAE eVisa, can use visa on arrival, qualify for visa exemption, or should use another official UAE entry route.

Flado is not the UAE government. UAE government fees are set by UAE authorities. Our package price includes the official UAE fee reference, conversion to Indonesian Rupiah, payment handling, document review, application support, communication, and Flado service fee.

Do Indonesian Citizens Need a UAE Visa?

Indonesian ordinary passport holders usually need to arrange a UAE visa or entry permit before travelling, unless they qualify under a special exemption, hold another eligible passport, or fall under a specific UAE entry category.

Some nationalities can enter the UAE without arranging a visa in advance, some can receive a visa on arrival, and others must apply for a visa or entry permit before travel. The exact result depends on passport nationality, passport type, residence status, travel purpose, and current UAE immigration rules.

Before payment, Flado checks the applicant’s nationality and travel plan. If the applicant does not need an advance UAE visa, we will tell you before starting the paid application process.

UAE eVisa or entry permit support may be relevant for Indonesian citizens and foreign nationals living in Indonesia whose passport is not eligible for visa-free entry or visa on arrival.

Usually suitable for Flado support

  • Indonesian citizens travelling to the UAE for tourism, transit, family visit, business meetings, or short stay.
  • Foreign residents in Indonesia who need a UAE entry permit before travel.
  • Applicants who are not sure whether they need eVisa, transit visa, visa on arrival, or visa exemption.
  • Travellers who want document checking and application support instead of handling the process alone.

May not need paid UAE eVisa support

  • GCC citizens, because UAE official guidance states that GCC citizens do not need a visa to enter the UAE.
  • Passport holders eligible for visa on arrival or visa exemption.
  • Travellers whose airline or hotel already provides the required UAE visa processing route.

Visa on Arrival and Visa Exemption Nationalities

According to UAE official guidance, GCC citizens do not need a visa to enter the UAE, while some other nationalities can obtain a visa on arrival and others must apply for a visa in advance.

Special Case: Indian Passport Holders

Indian citizens may be eligible for a UAE visa on arrival if they hold an ordinary passport and have a valid US permanent resident card, US visa, UK residence visa, or EU residence document, subject to UAE rules and document validity.

If an Indian passport holder does not qualify for visa on arrival, they may need to apply for a UAE visa or entry permit before travel.

Required Documents for UAE Tourist Visa

For UAE tourist visa support, please prepare clear digital copies of the following documents.

  • Passport biodata page, clear color scan or photo.
  • Passport must usually be valid for at least 6 months from the expected date of travel.
  • Recent personal photo with a white or light background.
  • Travel ticket, return ticket, or onward ticket.
  • Accommodation details, hotel booking, or UAE host details if applicable.
  • Medical insurance if required by the UAE system or visa category.
  • National ID for some nationalities, including Iraq, Pakistan, Iran, and Afghanistan, when requested by the UAE system.

Additional documents may be requested depending on nationality, passport type, UAE system requirements, sponsor/host category, airline route, travel history, or immigration checks.

Required Documents for UAE 96-Hour Transit Visa

A UAE transit visa is different from a tourist visa. It is normally connected to airline transit and is sponsored through UAE-based airlines or authorized service channels.

  • Passport or travel document with at least 6 months validity.
  • Recent personal photo with a white background.
  • Confirmed ticket to the UAE.
  • Confirmed onward ticket to a third country.
  • Transit period that matches the UAE transit visa rules.
UAE transit visas are sponsored by UAE-based airlines. Flado can help check the case and documents, but the final available application channel may depend on the airline and itinerary.
