Planning a short trip to Georgia? Flado can assist eligible travelers worldwide with the Georgia e-Visa application for tourism or business purposes. This is an offshore e-Visa: the applicant must be outside Georgia when the application is submitted. Since it is an electronic visa, the application can be prepared from almost anywhere in the world, as long as the applicant is not physically inside Georgia.
The Georgia e-Visa is designed as a pre-entry permission for travelers who need a visa before arrival. Once approved, the e-Visa is issued as a PDF document by email. It must be printed and carried together with the same passport used for the application.
For Indonesian citizens and many other eligible nationalities, the Georgia e-Visa is usually issued as a C1 multiple-entry e-Visa, allowing a stay of up to 30 days within a 120-day validity period. The visa starts from the intended arrival date selected in the application. You cannot enter Georgia before the visa valid-from date.

1. Georgia e-Visa Price and Processing Time
Flado service fee for Georgia e-Visa: 1,400,000 IDR, approximately 79 USD.
The standard processing time is 5–10 Georgian working days from the day of payment and submission of complete documents. In practice, many applications may be approved around the 5th Georgian working day, but public holidays and non-working days in Georgia may affect the timeline.
Please always check the Georgian public holiday calendar before planning urgent travel: Georgia public holiday calendar.
The official e-Visa processing decision takes not less than 5 working days, and public holidays are not counted as working days. Because of this, Flado presents the service timeline as 5–10 working days to give clients a safer planning window.
2. Georgia e-Visa Validity: 120 Days / 30 Days Stay / Multiple Entry
For Indonesian citizens and many other eligible e-Visa nationalities, the Georgia e-Visa is generally issued with the following conditions:
- Visa category: C1
- Validity period: 120 days
- Allowed stay: up to 30 days in Georgia
- Number of entries: Multiple entry
- Purpose: short-term tourism or business travel
The e-Visa starts from the arrival date selected in the application. This means that if your visa is valid from 12 July, you cannot enter Georgia on 10 July. You may enter Georgia only from the visa valid-from date.
The validity period and duration of stay are not the same. The validity period shows when you can use the visa to enter Georgia. The duration of stay shows how many days you may remain in Georgia within that validity period.
The e-Visa must be printed and carried together with the same passport used for the application. If the passport details in the e-Visa do not match the passport presented at the border, the e-Visa may be invalid.
3. Georgia e-Visa Is an Offshore Visa for Entry to Georgia
The Georgia e-Visa is not an in-country visa extension and not a visa issued after arrival. It is a pre-arrival electronic visa. The applicant should be outside Georgia when applying and should use the approved e-Visa to travel to Georgia and seek entry at the border.
This makes the service convenient for travelers who are currently in Indonesia, Thailand, UAE, Turkey, Europe, China, India, or any other country outside Georgia. The key requirement is not the applicant’s current country of residence, but the fact that the applicant is eligible for e-Visa and is outside Georgia at the time of application.
Flado’s price is displayed in Indonesian Rupiah because Flado operates as an Indonesian company and accepts payments through its payment infrastructure. The visa itself is a Georgian electronic visa and can be used for travel to Georgia from any suitable departure country.
4. Georgia e-Visa vs Visa-Free Entry
Georgia has a generous visa-free policy for many nationalities. Citizens of many visa-exempt countries may enter Georgia without a visa and stay for up to one full year. For example, Russian citizens are included in the visa-free list and generally do not need a Georgia e-Visa for ordinary short-term travel.
The C1 e-Visa that Flado assists with is designed for travelers who are not in the standard visa-free category but are eligible to apply online. It is suitable for short tourism or business trips, meetings, events, family visits and private travel.
| Entry Type | Who It Is For | Main Limit | What It Means |
|---|---|---|---|
| Visa-free entry | Citizens of visa-exempt countries, such as Russia, EU countries, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Japan, Singapore and many others | Usually up to one full year, depending on nationality and document type | No Georgia e-Visa is needed for ordinary short-term travel, but border documents and insurance may still be required |
| Georgia C1 e-Visa | Citizens of eligible e-Visa countries, including Indonesia and many other nationalities | Often 120-day validity and up to 30 days stay, depending on nationality | Online visa issued as a PDF before travel; must be printed and presented with passport |
| Embassy visa | Applicants who are not eligible for e-Visa or need long-term immigration purposes | Depends on visa category | Application may require consular submission and original documents |
5. Countries That May Apply for Georgia e-Visa
The Georgia e-Visa system is available for citizens and stateless persons permanently residing in specific countries. Some countries require only the standard e-Visa documents, while some require an additional valid supporting document, such as a Schengen visa, OECD visa, or residence permit from a Schengen or OECD country.
Group 1: e-Visa Countries Requiring a Supporting Document

7. Required Documents for Georgia e-Visa
To apply through Flado, please prepare:
- Passport photo or passport scan
- Studio photo according to Georgia e-Visa photo requirements
- Intended arrival date in Georgia
- Information about accompanying family members or travel companions, if applicable
- Confirmation that you will arrange travel and health insurance before entering Georgia
You can send the documents to Flado by WhatsApp, Telegram, other messenger, or by email to visa@flado.id.
Passport Photo Requirement
For most nationalities, including Indonesian citizens, a clear photo or scan of the passport data page is required.
Only citizens of India are usually required to upload a full passport spread / both sides of the passport according to the Georgia e-Visa portal instruction.
8. Georgia e-Visa Photo Requirements
The photo is one of the most important parts of the Georgia e-Visa application. A low-quality photo, selfie, scanned photo from another document, or incorrect crop may lead to rejection or delay.
- Recent photo taken within the last 6 months
- Studio photo only
- No selfie
- No scanned photo from another document
- Full face, front view, eyes open
- White background
- No border or frame
- No head covering, except for religious reasons
- Eyeglasses may be worn only if there is no glare
- Digital photo size: 472 × 591 pixels
- Scanned studio photo size: 4 × 5 cm, 300 DPI resolution
Flado may sometimes help adjust the background, crop, size, and technical parameters of the photo if the original image has enough quality and space for editing. However, the facial expression, head position, eyes, face visibility, and overall studio-photo quality must already meet the requirements.
Please do not send mobile selfies, screenshots, cropped passport photos, low-resolution photos, full-body photos, or pictures copied from other ID documents.
9. Travelling with Family Members or Companions
Each traveler must have a separate e-Visa, regardless of age. This includes children and family members.
If you are travelling with family members, friends, children, or other accompanying persons, please inform Flado in advance. This helps us prepare the applications consistently and indicate accompanying persons where needed so that the applications may be examined together.
If one of your accompanying travelers does not need a visa to Georgia, please also inform us. It is still useful to mention travel companions when preparing the application and travel plan.
10. Travel Insurance for Georgia
Travel and health insurance is required for entering Georgia from 1 January 2026. Insurance is not part of the Georgia e-Visa application fee and is not required to submit the e-Visa application, but it may be checked at the Georgian border.
You may use your own valid travel medical insurance for Georgia, or you may arrange insurance separately before your trip.
If you need travel insurance, you can check Flado’s insurance page here: https://flado.id/visa-insurance/.
Before applying through Flado, the applicant confirms that they understand insurance is not included in the Georgia e-Visa service fee and that valid insurance should be prepared before entering Georgia.
11. Documents to Carry When Entering Georgia
Georgia e-Visa approval does not automatically guarantee entry. The final decision is made by Georgian border officers. When crossing the Georgian border, you should be ready to present:
- Valid passport used for the e-Visa application
- Printed Georgia e-Visa
- Return or onward ticket
- Hotel booking or other proof of accommodation
- Travel and health insurance valid for Georgia
- Proof of sufficient funds for your stay
- Documents confirming your travel purpose, if requested
If you fail to present documents required for crossing the Georgian border, you may be refused entry even if your e-Visa has been approved.
12. Previous Travel to Georgia and 90/180-Day Rule
If you have travelled to Georgia during the last 180-day period, you are responsible for calculating how many days you are still permitted to stay in Georgia. Your stay must not exceed the applicable stay limit.
Before payment, please check your previous travel dates and intended arrival date using the official Georgia Visit Planning Calculator: Georgia Visit Planning Calculator.
If the calculator shows that you have 0 days left on your intended arrival date, you may be refused entry even if you arrive with a valid e-Visa.
13. How Many Days Do You Need for Georgia in Summer?
If you are visiting Georgia for the first time in summer, the best travel rhythm is usually not too fast. Georgia looks small on the map, but mountain roads, viewpoints, old towns, canyons and regional food experiences make the country better for slow travel.
For a first summer trip, we recommend planning at least 7–10 days. If you want to include Svaneti, Mestia or Ushguli, a safer plan is 10–14 days, because the roads are long and weather in the mountains can affect the schedule.
Classic First-Time Georgia Route: 7–8 Days
- Day 1: Arrival in Tbilisi, old town, sulfur baths area, Narikala, Bridge of Peace
- Day 2: Tbilisi city walk, Rustaveli Avenue, Dry Bridge market, Sololaki, local restaurants
- Day 3: Mtskheta, Jvari Monastery, Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, confluence of the Kura and Aragvi rivers
- Day 4: Georgian Military Road, Zhinvali Reservoir, Ananuri Fortress, Gudauri viewpoint
- Day 5: Stepantsminda / Kazbegi, Gergeti Trinity Church, mountain views
- Day 6: Return to Tbilisi or continue to Kakheti for wine region and countryside
- Day 7–8: Relaxed food, shopping, museums, optional day trips or departure
Extended Summer Route: 10–14 Days with Svaneti
- Tbilisi and Mtskheta: old town, churches, viewpoints, city food and culture
- Kazbegi / Stepantsminda: Gergeti Trinity Church, mountain landscapes, Georgian Military Road
- Kutaisi: useful stop between east and west Georgia, caves and canyons nearby
- Mestia: Svan towers, Hatsvali cable car, Chalaadi Glacier trail
- Mazeri: alpine meadows, Ushba views, Shdugra waterfalls if weather and fitness allow
- Ushguli: high mountain villages, Svan towers, Shkhara views
- Black Sea coast: Batumi, Ureki or another coastal stop if you want sea after mountains
For summer travel, comfortable shoes, light rain protection, sunscreen, cash in Georgian lari, and a flexible schedule are important. Mountain weather can change quickly, and some roads or trails may take longer than expected.
For winter travel, the logic is different: if your main purpose is skiing in Gudauri, Bakuriani or other resorts, the right duration depends on how many full ski days you want.
