During the Summit G20, we received the news that in December 2022, a “Second Home Visa” will become effective in Indonesia. Finally, this day has come. On December 21, 2022, the Minister of Justice and Human Rights launched a policy aimed at international investors and billionaires.
The Ministry of Law and Human Rights, through the General Directorate of Immigration, will provide investors who wish to stay longer in Indonesia with visas and residence permits in the “Second Home”. This policy is dictated by the phenomenon of migration of foreigners to Indonesia for the purpose of doing business, investing and living in the country. Due to the geographical position, natural and economic resources of Indonesia, there are many opportunities for this.
Foreigners and their sponsors will be able to apply for a “Second Home Visa” at https://molina.imigration.go.id. This application will also give you the opportunity to obtain a limited stay permit under the “Second Home Visa” for 5 and 10 years.
The website also provides e-VoA application available for 86 countries.
