In 2026, entry rules for Indonesia have become highly advanced technologically. Travelers no longer need to queue for physical stickers or visit immigration offices just to apply for extensions. All processes now begin online through the e-VOA (B1) system.

What is e-VOA (B1) and who can use it?

Electronic Visa on Arrival (e-VOA) is a digital document that allows citizens from 97 countries (including Australia, China, USA, Germany, France, South Korea, and Japan) to enter Indonesia for tourism, business meetings, or transit.

Step 1: Offshore Application (before arrival)

To apply through the Flado Indonesia portal, you only need two documents: a passport photo and a selfie. Once approved, the visa file will be sent to your email.

Step 2: Passing the Border via Auto Gates

Head directly to the automated terminals (Auto Gates). Scan your passport, look at the camera—and in 30 seconds, you are in Indonesia. This frees you from officer queues and the requirement to pay in cash at the airport.

Step 3: Onshore Extension (while in Bali)

To stay for 2 months (60 days), the visa must be extended. If you applied for your e-VOA through our portal, the extension application is done entirely online.

Important: We recommend applying for an extension at least 14 days before your first month expires. Although the application is submitted online, current immigration rules still require a one-time visit to the immigration office for biometrics (fingerprints and photo). We will fully coordinate this process and inform you of the exact appointment time.
