If the family is already in Indonesia, the correct route depends on the current stay permit, expiry date and sponsor readiness.
- Bridging Visa may be required before conversion to ITAS / KITAS.
- Bridging Visa must be sponsored by the school because the next KITAS will also be under school sponsorship.
- Bridging Visa is electronic and valid for 60 days.
- Special price: IDR 3,000,000 if the next onshore conversion to ITAS is also paid.
- Standard price: IDR 4,000,000 if the onshore conversion to ITAS is not paid.
- Application should be submitted at least 15 days before the current visa expires.
- If submitted 1–14 days before expiration, an extra IDR 3,000,000 is added.
- Bridging Visa is not available for C and D visa types.
- For C or D visa onshore conversion, the sponsor should be the school.
- Usually 31+ days should remain to start conversion to KITAS.
- If there are not enough days, extension or another route may be needed.
- Onshore process usually takes around 3–4 weeks and does not have Priority processing.
- Student KITAS is processed first, then Parent KITAS E31H and Sibling KITAS E31J.
To register or connect the sponsor account, Flado usually needs only standard company documents.
