If you have Work KITAS your company will provide for your BPJS Health Insurance (BPJS Kesehatan) and company will pay for it. If you have Investor KITAS then you need to apply for BPJS in person and pay it monthly by yourself. There are 3 categories of BPJS in Indonesia. You will have medical service in government hospitals.

Company have an obligation to get health insurance for the employee (including director and commissars). When you register your company for health insurance, you will have an online account called EDABU.

Insurance for employ

Start from 1 july 2021, the company who already issued kitas for shareholder of foreign employe must be registered in BPJS kesehatan and retirement fund. The rate as follow:

• uran BPJS Kesehatan Kelas 1: Rp 150.000
• Iuran BPJS Kesehatan Kelas 2: Rp 100.000
• Iuran BPJS Kesehatan Kelas 3: Rp 25.500

Retirement fund for salary Rp. 2.500.000 the insurance are Rp. 190.000/month.
