From February 2, 2026 updated extensions rules for D12 extension:

Updated Extension Rules for D12 Holder that would like to extend their 180 days ITK, they have to prove that they’ve already Established a Company and their name has to be on the Deeds already. Mandatory now for al Immigration Offices in Bali.
Otherwise Immigration won’t proceed the 180 Days D12 Onshore Extension.

From April 2024 you can extend your Indonesian visa online:

• * We will extend your visa online through an immigration profile (you have to be our client)
• * We will prepare the necessary sponsorship letters
• * Submission of documents for extension is allowed no earlier than 14 days before the expiration of the visa (we will schedule this submission in our system)
• * You do not need to provide us with a passport
• * Need to visit your local immigration office to have your photograph and fingerprints taken
• * You will not receive a new sticker in your passport
• * We usually receive a PDF of your new stay permit (proof of extension) within 5-7 working days
• * You will receive notification from us by email
• * If your visa extension is still pending after it has expired, you will not be overstayed as the extension process has already been paid for
