If your departure date is very close, Flado can still review the case, but the application cannot be guaranteed if there are holidays, incomplete documents, incorrect hotel confirmation, poor photo quality, passport issues or additional checks by the authorities.

2. Mongolia e-Visa Validity and Entry Conditions

According to the Mongolia eVisa system, the visa is generally valid for 150 days from issuance and allows the traveler to enter Mongolia once.

The applicant must provide the expected date of arrival and expected date of departure. The stay in Mongolia must match the travel plan submitted in the application and must not exceed the limit allowed by the issued visa.

If the visa expires before travel, a new application must be submitted. A Mongolia e-Visa does not automatically guarantee entry by itself; the final decision is made by Mongolian border authorities.

3. Who Needs a Mongolia e-Visa?

This service is intended for Indonesian citizens and other travelers who are not eligible for visa-free entry to Mongolia.

Some nationalities can enter Mongolia without a visa for a limited period. If your nationality is in Mongolia’s visa-free list, you may not need an e-Visa for ordinary short-term travel. If your nationality is not visa-exempt, you should apply for the appropriate visa before travelling.

If you are a citizen of a visa-free country, please still check your permitted stay period, passport validity, purpose of travel and border requirements before travelling. Visa-free entry does not mean unlimited stay, and border officers may still ask for travel documents, accommodation confirmation or onward travel proof.

6. Required Documents for Mongolia e-Visa

To apply through Flado, please prepare:

7. Hotel Reservation and Payment Receipt Requirement

For Mongolia e-Visa, the accommodation document is important. The eVisa system may require a reservation confirmation and payment receipt for the hotel, resort, camp, or hostel where you will stay in Mongolia.

If you stay in more than one place, please prepare confirmation and payment receipt for each hotel or accommodation. The dates should match your travel route and the arrival/departure dates used in the visa application.

8. Mongolia Public Holidays and e-Visa Timing

The Mongolia e-Visa timeline is counted in working days. Public holidays and weekends can delay processing, especially before major holidays such as Tsagaan Sar and Naadam.

In 2026, Mongolia’s public holiday calendar includes dates such as New Year, Constitution Day, Tsagaan Sar holidays, International Women’s Day, Great Buddha Day, Children’s Day, Naadam holidays, Chinggis Khaan’s Birthday, Republic Day and Independence Day. These dates may affect the practical timing of e-Visa issuance.

9. Travelling with Family Members or Companions

Each traveler must have their own Mongolia e-Visa, including children. If you are travelling with family members, friends or a group, please send the documents for each applicant separately.

If accommodation is shared, the hotel confirmation should clearly support the stay of all travelers or be suitable for the number of people included in the booking.

10. Documents to Carry When Entering Mongolia

When entering Mongolia, travelers should be ready to present:

• Hotel booking or other accommodation proof
• Payment receipt for accommodation, if requested

Border officers may request additional information. Approval of an e-Visa does not automatically guarantee entry if the traveler cannot confirm the purpose of travel, accommodation, passport validity, or other entry conditions.

11. How to Apply with Flado

5. Flado checks the documents and submits the e-Visa application.
6. Once the e-Visa is ready, Flado sends it to you by email or messenger.
7. Carry the e-Visa and passport when travelling to Mongolia.

12. Important Notice

The e-Visa fee and application-related payments are generally non-refundable once the application is submitted. Incorrect passport details, wrong travel dates, invalid photos, incomplete hotel documents or false information may result in refusal or invalidation of the e-Visa.
