For a long time, only the international terminal in Jakarta was open for arrival in Indonesia. Arriving could only be quarantined in certified hotels in the capital. Today there is an alternative. You can fly to Sam Ratulanga International Airport in Manado, North Sulawesi. There are quarantine hotels in Manado that are cheaper than in Jakarta. In Manado, unlike Jakarta, you can enjoy fresh air. Most hotels in Manado have ocean views. It is said that hotel guests were able to get out and use the pool and gym. But, in fact, the quarantine should only be in your room.
How to get to Manado?
You cannot fly through Jakarta if you want to quarantine in Manado. You can get to Manado from Singapore with direct Scoot flights on Wednesdays and Fridays. Then you need to fly out of Moscow, for example, 1-2 days earlier:
You need to take a single ticket with transit, since entry to Singapore is closed. The maximum transit time is 48 hours. Travelers will only be allowed to transit in Singapore when flying with airlines whose transfer routes have been approved by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (for example, transit will not be available if arriving with Emirates).
