Arriving in Jakarta and Manado are subject to health monitoring for one night:
- Upon arrival at the airport, they take a PCR test, check into a quarantine hotel until a negative result is obtained;
- Health monitoring with 1 night stay for those who have 2 or 3 doses of coronavirus vaccination (this is no longer called quarantine);
- Quarantine 7 days are only those who have one dose of vaccination.
Arriving in Bali:
- No need to quarantine, but you must have a reservation and payment for a CHSE certified hotel for 3 nights. There are a lot of cheap hotels on the list https://chse.kemenparekraf.go.id/detail-province/bali.
- You will be able to leave the hotel during your stay.

Updates on Reopening Visa on Arrival facility for international tourists to Bali from 7 March 2022:
Visa on Arrival (VoA) is back, but only for 23 countries. Tourists can buy a 30-day visa for $36. A 30-day extension will cost $55. The maximum stay is 60 days, after which you must leave Indonesia. All holders of other passports can obtain a pre-arranged tourist/business visa B211A and may stay in Indonesia for up to 180 days.
