Are you planning a trip to Canada from Bali, Jakarta, or elsewhere in Indonesia? Whether you are an Australian expat enjoying the island life or an Indonesian citizen (WNI) planning a holiday, the application process depends entirely on your passport. Canada offers two main entry paths: the Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) for visa-exempt citizens and the Visitor Visa for everyone else. At Flado Indonesia, we provide full support to ensure your application is seamless, wherever you are located.
Pricing and Official Processing Times
We offer transparent, all-inclusive pricing in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). Our fees include the official government charges (including biometrics where applicable), service fees, and taxes. Processing times start once your biometrics are submitted.
| Document Type / Citizenship | Official Processing Time* | Total Price (IDR) |
|---|---|---|
| eTA (Australia, EU, Japan, etc.) | 15 minutes to 72 hours | 1,100,000 |
| Visitor Visa (Indonesia, Russia, CIS, China) | ~22 – 28 days | 5,600,000 |
Times are based on current IRCC data and are not guaranteed. Visitor Visa price (5.6M) includes the mandatory 185 CAD government and biometric fees.
Special Category: U.S. Citizens and Green Card Holders
If you are a U.S. citizen or a Lawful Permanent Resident of the U.S. (Green Card holder), you do not need a visa or an eTA to enter Canada. You only need to present your valid U.S. passport or permanent resident card at the border. No prior application or payment is required.
Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) – Fast Track for Australians
The eTA is a digital requirement for visa-exempt foreign nationals traveling to Canada by air. For Australian citizens and other eligible nationalities, this is a simple online process. Once approved, it is electronically linked to your passport and remains valid for up to five years.

Medical Exams: In some cases, a medical exam may be requested by the immigration officer. Usually, doctors are available in the most popular locations, and their contacts will be provided upon request to undergo a medical examination. You must use a doctor approved by IRCC (Panel Physician).
