Detailed Visa Types: From e-VoA to KITAS & Citizenship
- Visa Exemption – Valid for only 30 days of stay. Available for citizens of 9 ASEAN countries. You must leave the country before the expiration date (non-extendable).
- Visa on Arrival (VoA & e-VoA) – From 30 to 60 days of stay for citizens of 97 countries. You must leave the country before the expiration date, but it is also possible to get a residence permit KITAS onshore via a Bridging Visa.
- Visit Visa С1 (ex 211A) / C2 (ex B211A) – From 60 to 180 days of stay, available for most countries. This is a pre-issued visa that takes several days to obtain. It also allows you to obtain a residence permit KITAS with the correct sponsor.
- Multiple Entry D1 for 1, 2, or 5 years – From 60 to 180 days of stay per visit. Ideal for most countries and makes it easier to enter Indonesia if you travel frequently. This visa allows you to obtain a residence permit KITAS with the correct sponsor.
- Temporary Residence Permit KITAS – From 6 months to 2 years of initial stay, with the possibility of extension up to 5 years.
- Permanent Residence Permit KITAP – For a 5-year initial stay, and issued indefinitely for the 2nd time.
- Citizenship – Available after 5 continuous or 10 cumulative years of living in Indonesia with permanent residence status.

Extension of e-Visa on Arrival and Visa C1 (ex 211A)
