Description
The Multiple Re-Entry Permit (MREP) is an official authorization allowing KITAP holders to leave and return to Indonesia legally. You can always apply for a new MREP while inside Indonesia, but you cannot apply for a new MREP while outside Indonesia.

Details for KITAP Holders
- Renewal: No renewal is needed if you do not plan to leave Indonesia. You can stay without an MREP as long as you do not exit.
- Travel Necessity: An active MREP is required to exit and return. Without it, your KITAP will be automatically canceled.
- Emergency Preparedness: Keep an active MREP in case of family emergencies, medical needs, or urgent travel.
- Activation: A new MREP takes effect from the application date and cancels any existing MREP that has not expired.
- Duration Limits: Not all KITAP holders can apply for every MREP duration. For example, if you hold a Family Reunion KITAP with an Indonesian citizen spouse, you can only apply for 6 months, 1 year, or 2 years MREP (if the system allows).

Application Process & Requirements
The application process is fully online and takes 3-5 working days from the date of payment. To apply for an MREP, you need to prepare the following documents:
- Passport (original and photocopy)
- KITAP (original and photocopy)
- Foreigners electronic ID card / e-KTP WNA (original and photocopy)
- Sponsors electronic ID card / e-KTP WNI (original and photocopy). If residing outside Bali, include a domicile certificate.
- Family Card / Kartu Keluarga (photocopy)
- Application letter for MREP prepared by the sponsor (original). For Investor, Expatriate, and Elderly KITAP holders, this must include a company letterhead and official stamp.
- Application form (Perdim) number 25
- Marriage Certificate (original and photocopy) for Family Reunion KITAP with a spouse/partner sponsor
- Applicant’s Birth Certificate (original and photocopy) and Parents’ Marriage Certificate (original and photocopy) for Family Reunion KITAP with Indonesian citizen parents as sponsors
- NIB, NPWP, Ministry of Law Decree (SK Kumham), and Notarial Deed of Company Establishment for Investor and Expatriate KITAP
