A newly observed lookalike visa website is copying the visual style travelers expect from an Indonesia visa service. Pages like this can look convincing, collect passport details, request payment and leave the traveler with no valid application or support.

The safest practical rule is simple: do not trust a page merely because it uses familiar colors, official-looking language or a visa logo. Check the exact domain, the company receiving your payment and the support channel before uploading your passport.

Why lookalike visa websites are dangerous

A fake or misleading website can cause more than a lost payment. A traveler may also lose time before a flight, disclose a passport copy and personal data, or receive a PDF that cannot be used for entry. In some cases, the victim discovers the problem only during check-in or border control.

Common warning signs include:

• a domain that is almost, but not exactly, the name you expected;
• urgent payment demands or unusual bank details;
• promises of guaranteed approval or instant issuance;
• an application that requires only a passport photo and no normal travel details;
• support that exists only in a private messenger account;
• a PDF visa that cannot be verified and comes without a traceable application history.

Apply through Flado in three steps

• B1 e-VOA: suitable for a short trip. It provides an initial 30-day stay and can normally be extended once for another 30 days.
• C1 Tourist Visa: suitable for a longer single visit. It starts with 60 days and may be extended twice, subject to the applicable process.
• D1 Multiple-Entry Tourist Visa: designed for travelers who plan repeated visits during the visa validity period.

2. Confirm that the domain ends exactly in flado.id when using a Flado service.
3. Review the visa type, price and applicant information before payment.
4. Do not send card details or passport files to an unknown contact.
5. Keep the order confirmation, payment receipt and correspondence until the trip is complete.

Already paid a suspicious website?

Stop further payments. Save screenshots, emails, receipts, the website address and every message. Contact your bank or payment provider immediately and ask whether the transaction can be blocked or disputed. If passport data was submitted, keep a record of exactly what was shared.
