General Requirements for New and Extension KITAS Applications

To apply for a new KITAS or extend an existing one, the following general documents are required:

  1. Application Letter: A formal request to obtain or extend a KITAS.
  2. Guarantee Letter: A letter from a guarantor (sponsor) in Indonesia.
  3. Letter of Attorney with Meterai Stamp: Required if the application is submitted by a representative.
  4. Curriculum Vitae (CV): A personal resume, especially needed for work-related applications.
  5. Passport: A valid passport with a minimum of six months validity.

  • Company Bank Statement (last 2 months): Proof of the company’s financial standing.
  • Minimum Capital Requirement: The company must have a minimum capital of 10 billion rupiah.

3. Workers

  • IMTA (Working Permit): Or a letter of exemption from the Ministry of Manpower.

  4. Passport Collection: Retrieve your passport once the KITAS is processed.

KITAS Extension Procedure
