eVOA (B1) — Electronic Visa on Arrival
The fastest and most convenient option to enter Indonesia.
It can be applied online within minutes and is valid for 30 days.
You can extend it for another 30 days without leaving the country.
This visa remains the top choice for travelers visiting Bali for the first time.
eVOA or Purple VOA Extension
Extensions are available for both types — the eVOA obtained online before arrival and the purple VOA purchased at the airport and attached to your passport.
Every extension begins online and does not require submitting your passport to our office, however, since May 28, 2025, the Immigration Office introduced a mandatory step —
a visit to your local immigration branch for fingerprint and photo registration.
After completion, the extension document will be sent to your email.
Average processing time: 5–8 working days.
Most consistent performance: Ngurah Rai and Denpasar immigration offices.
C1 Tourist Visa
A long-stay tourist visa valid for 60 days, extendable twice for 60 days each —
that’s up to 120 additional days of stay, meaning you can remain in Indonesia for a total of up to 180 days.
This visa lets you enjoy your stay without worrying about exit runs or frequent renewals.
Perfect for those who plan to stay longer than the standard tourist period.
Average processing time: 7–10 working days,
may vary depending on the workload of DitJen (the central immigration office in Jakarta).
C2 Business Visa

A short-term business visa for meetings, conferences, and inspections.

and does not require physical presence in Indonesia during approval.
D12 Pre-Investment Visa
Designed for foreigners preparing to establish or invest in a business in Indonesia.
It allows a stay of up to 180 days and can be extended under the same procedure.
Average processing time: 9–11 working days.
The next logical step after D12 is upgrading to an Investor KITAS (E28A).

Important: the sponsor must remain the same as in your D12 visa, especially when registering a PT PMA company.

It allows foreigners to live legally in Bali without employment contracts or local taxation.
Issued for one year with renewal options.

Bridging Visa — Transition Between Visas Within Indonesia
Learn more about Bridging Visa

Flado submits all applications on the same day of payment — any delays are due to internal handling by the central immigration office in Jakarta.
Onshore Pathways and Popular Scenarios in 2025
- EVOA or VOA → Bridging Visa → KITAS (onshore)
The most popular route for travelers who decide to stay longer.
It allows you to upgrade to a KITAS without leaving Indonesia. - Tourist Visa C1 → KITAS (onshore)
Less common, as it requires planning in advance —
your C1 must initially be issued under the correct sponsor for the future KITAS. - D12 Pre-Investment → Investor KITAS (E28A)
The optimal route for investors establishing a PT PMA company.
The same sponsor must be maintained to ensure smooth conversion.
