Changes in U.S. Visa Services in Indonesia: What You Need to Know

Starting September 28, 2024, the U.S. visa service in Indonesia will transition to a new system, impacting U.S. visa application process, payment of visa fees, and passport delivery. Visa Agency by Flado Indonesia shares key updates and preparation tips for this transition.

Key Changes:

  • New Partner — VFS: VFS will handle document processing, visa fee payments, and passport delivery.
  • Document submissions for Interview Waiver and 221g categories will be processed through VFS.
  • Visa fee payments (MRV fees) will now be made through VFS.

What to Know About the New System:

  • All applicants must re-register in the new U.S. visa system.
  • Use the same email as in the previous system to recover your records if you have a current payment receipt or appointment.
  • Changes will occur in document submission and collection locations, and premium delivery fees will be updated.
